Shopify CRO & UX
We find where your Shopify store loses customers and build the fixes. It starts with a conversion diagnostic: a ranked list of what to change. Then the same team designs and ships it.
The usual first step is the conversion diagnostic: about two weeks, ending in a ranked fix list. See CACTi PCs and Creative Lab Amsterdam for what we found, what we built and how we measured it.
In short
Shopify CRO (conversion rate optimisation) means finding what stops visitors from buying and changing the store to remove it. We do the research, the design and the Shopify development, so the changes ship. Stores with enough orders get A/B tests; smaller stores get research-backed fixes measured against a dated baseline.
Who this is for
- Stores with steady traffic whose conversion rate has stalled or dropped
- Brands selling considered purchases, such as configurable, made-to-measure or high-value products
- Teams with a list of ideas or an old audit and no one free to build it
How it works
- 01
Diagnose
About two weeks. We walk the buying path, check analytics and tracking, watch session recordings, run a short customer survey and check speed, apps and theme code. It ends with a ranked list of fixes, presented on a call.
- 02
Design
We design the top fixes, mobile first, and show them to you before we build.
- 03
Build
We develop in a preview theme, test on real devices and release when you approve.
- 04
Measure
An A/B test where there are enough orders to read one. Otherwise we compare with the baseline and list what else changed in the same period.

Questions
What does the conversion diagnostic cost?
A fixed price, agreed before we start. It depends on the size of the store and how many flows we look at, so we quote after the first call.
Do you implement the changes?
Yes. The people who find the problem build the fix. You can also take the ranked list to your own developers; it is yours to keep.
Do we have enough traffic for A/B testing?
As a rule of thumb, a testing programme needs around 1,000 orders a month. Below that we don't sell testing. We make research-backed fixes and compare with a dated baseline, and say what that comparison can't prove.
Can you guarantee a conversion increase?
No. We commit to the research and the work. Prices, traffic, stock and promotions also move results, so we report what changed and what else happened in the same period.
What happens after the diagnostic?
You keep the list whatever you decide. If you want us to build the fixes, we scope that next. If there is useful work after that, we continue month by month.
Tell us what isn't working.
In 20 minutes we look at your store with you and say what we would check first, and whether we are the right team for it.
