Shopify integration

What Shopify can do for your store, where it stops, and how we set it up.

Describe your setup ↗

What Shopify is

Shopify is the commerce platform under your store: catalogue, orders, payments and checkout. Everything customers see and use around it (the theme, product pages, custom features and connected apps) is where most of the work happens.

How Ecom Majesty works with Shopify

We work on Shopify every day: theme migrations, product pages, configurators, rental and subscription flows, multi-market launches and integrations. Every project starts from a buying or operational problem, not a rebuild. We check what the theme and existing apps can already do before recommending more software.

What we configure

  • Conversion research and fixes on product pages, cart and navigation
  • Theme migrations and custom sections
  • Configurators and custom buying flows
  • Integrations with the systems around the store

Ways to set it up

  • Built in

    Theme and Shopify features

Online Store 2.0 themes, metafields, metaobjects, Markets, Flow. Most requirements start here.

  • Existing app

    Shopify apps

An app where one does the job well and doesn't slow the store down.

  • Custom build

    Custom development

Custom theme code, Shopify Functions or custom apps for what the platform and apps can't do.

Where these projects go wrong

  • Rebuilding the theme when the problem was three things on the product page.
  • Installing an app for every gap until the store is slow and fragile.
  • Custom code nobody documented, so theme updates break it.

Our experience

Our case studies describe the Shopify development behind each project. We check each new requirement before quoting.

Questions

Where do we start?
A 20-minute call. If sales are the problem, the usual next step is the conversion diagnostic. If you know what to build, we scope the build.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. Some features, such as deeper checkout customisation, are Plus-only; most of our work applies to every plan.

Before we scope the work

  • Which data or customer journey needs to connect, and which system owns it?
  • What access, plan features or API permissions are available?
  • Does an existing connector cover the requirement, including failures and updates?
  • Who will maintain the connection, and how will you know it is working?

Send your current setup and one real example of the flow you need. We'll tell you whether it can be done and what it would take.
