Shopify ordering for trade-show rentals.

Orders needed more show context.

D&B Rental Displays rents display and event equipment to exhibitors. Orders need the show, venue and booth details, plus a clear choice between collection and delivery.

The business had multiple show-specific Shopify stores. Work focused on reducing duplicated storefront maintenance and collecting the information needed to fulfil rental orders.

Consolidation and event routing.

The planned consolidation used one Shopify storefront with event context preserved through domains, menus and routing. The rental journey was kept distinct from the separate retail direction.

Order fields and fulfilment information.

We added cart fields and order attributes for company, phone, show and booth details where required. Packing slips were adjusted to include the information used for delivery.

A tag-triggered ready-for-pickup email used Mechanic and listed the order items. Multi-location inventory and product metadata supported show-specific availability.

We also evaluated Booqable for rental booking, including delivery areas and restrictions on mixed-location bookings.

What the record supports.

The evidence documents storefront, checkout and fulfilment work. It does not establish a measured reduction in support work or an increase in orders or revenue. Current operating arrangements should be confirmed separately from this historical account.
