What TikTok is

TikTok's Shopify app connects the store to TikTok for ads and, in supported countries, TikTok Shop: it installs the TikTok pixel and syncs the product catalogue.

How we would approach TikTok with Shopify

We install TikTok's own app, connect it to the right business account, and check the pixel isn't also hard-coded in the theme. Then we sync the catalogue and fix rejected products. TikTok Shop availability depends on your country, so we check that before planning around it.
